I've started hooking up mailing lists to MailChimp. I like the integration, but need to check on the cost after you max the free plan. We'll have mailing lists for Neighborhood Updates, Hashtags/Memes, Daily Specials and Events. Subscribe to as little or much as you want by signing up on this website.

Dutchtown Organizes

Spurred by Alderman Shane Cohn, whose 25th Ward covers most of Dutchtown, and St. Louis police Capt. Dan Howard, whose 1st District officers patrol the area, a small band of residents have taken an active approach to cleaning up a once-thriving community.

"We decided that we're not going to run," said Jim Dauphin, 63, a Dutchtown resident for 34 years. "We were here before the thugs got here, and hopefully we're going to be here when the thugs are gone."

Loop Trolley Gets a Garage

Edwards has purchased the vacant, century-old Delmar School building, perhaps better known as Roberts Chevrolet and then Milner's Chevrolet. It started life in 1910 as Pope-Hartford Motor Car Co., an early manufacturer of electric and other vehicles that resembled buggies on wheels. For most of the next 100 years, the property at 5875-5893 Delmar was used by transportation businesses.
